On September 9th, 2023, Renato Lopez, Aristote Rayon, Newsavant Nguyen and Afzal Manzoor were promoted to the rank of Sergeant at the Home Station. The rank of Sergeant is the first level supervisor, and many will argue that this is the best and most rewarding position in the army at the Non-Commissioned level. Sergeants are responsible for seven to ten soldiers of their section and ensure their welfare and administration. They develop, ensure and maintain the training and discipline of their section.
