On March 11, 2023, during the 259th Regimental Birthday Ball, to Mr. Tom Thorpe, MBA, CPA, CFP, of the Canadian Grenadier Guards Association, was awarded the Leadership and Service Trophy for 2022. This trophy was first awarded in 2006 by the then Honorary Colonel Frank Norman as a gift to the entire Regimental Family and is awarded to any Serving Member or a member of the extended Regimental Family for their leadership and service within the Regimental Family of The Canadian Grenadier Guards each year.
