Drill Sergeant, Master Warrant Officer, Marcel Michaud, CD, retired 1962 – 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Marcel Michaud, beloved husband of Mrs. Sonia Pagé, and devoted father to Gabriel Michaud and Paul Michaud (Marilyn Carpi). Marcel was a resident of Lac-Drolet, located in the Granit Regional County Municipality in Estrie, Quebec. He was originally from Québec City and spent his formative years in Bas-Saint-Laurent.

Company Sergeant-Major Marcel Michaud retired in 2021 after an exemplary 40-year career in the Canadian Armed Forces. He proudly served with the 6th Battalion, Royal 22nd Regiment (6R22eR) and joined The Canadian Grenadier Guards in 2017.

Marcel Michaud passed away in Lac-Mégantic on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at the age of 62 years and 6 months.

A religious service will be held in his honor on Monday, December 30, 2024, at 12:30 p.m. at St-Samuel de Lac-Drolet Church.
