It’s been a year since the Freedom of the City was conferred upon The Canadian Grenadier Guards, marking a proud moment in our town’s history. The resilience and sense of community shown that day remain a powerful reminder of the strong bond between our town and those who serve. As we reflect on this meaningful occasion, we’re reminded of the importance of coming together to honour our shared heritage. We invite you to join us at our upcoming Remembrance Day ceremony, where we will once again pay tribute to those who have sacrificed for our freedom.

Following the parade drop by and visit the Regimental Museum display of historical artifacts on WWII and Sergeant Moe Hurwitz, in the community center.
