Today, I had an opportunity to remember those who fought for freedom and liberation from injustice in the world. So many, too young to die and suffer trauma. We paid them tribute as well as acknowledged their families and friends. Thanks to those currently serving our country.
I also had a chance to pay tribute today to our Canadian Veterans and those of allied forces. Visiting special graves of Canadian Grenadier Guards, my dad and other Guardsman I knew, all of whom have passed before us and rest at the National Field of Honour Cemetery in Pointe-Claire that is operated by the Last Post Fund.
We will remember them.
