Presentation of Canadian Army Sergeant-Major Coin, Thursday October 20, 2022

On Thursday 20 October 2022, Chief Warrant Officer J.M. Smith, MMM, CD, Canadian Army Sergeant Major visited the Regiment and took the opportunity to recognize the hard work of some of our members. Corporal Ranvir Singh – Financial Services Administration clerk. Corporal Singh sought vehicle specialization courses outside of his occupation in order to support the rifle companies in a support role while also volunteering for all exercise advance work parties.  Sergeant Zouhair Ghali – Infantry – A section commander in the rifle company and combined Territorial Battalion Group, he took on the added responsibility of platoon Second-in-Command while the actual platoon Second-in-Command was part of Operation London Bridge. Sergeant Ghali has excelled in this role and continues to seek more responsibility and contributes to the successes of his company.

Smith, MMM, CD, sergent-major de l’Armée canadienne a visité le Régiment et en a profité pour reconnaître le travail acharné de certains de nos membres. Caporal Ranvir Singh – Commis à l’administration des services financiers. Le Corporal Singh c’est qualifié sur les véhicules en dehors de son occupation afin de soutenir les compagnies dans un rôle de soutien tout en ce portant bénévole pour les équipes de travail préalables aux exercices. Sergent Zouhair Ghali – Infanterie – Commandant de section dans la compagnie no.1 et du groupe de bataillon territorial, il a assumé le role de commandant en second du peloton tandis que le commandant en second du peloton faisait partie de l’opération London Bridge. Le Sergeant Ghali a excellé dans ce rôle et continue de rechercher plus de responsabilités et contribue aux succès de son équipe.
