{"id":3009,"date":"2023-10-02T11:47:16","date_gmt":"2023-10-02T15:47:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cgg.ca\/?p=3009"},"modified":"2023-10-02T11:47:16","modified_gmt":"2023-10-02T15:47:16","slug":"2023-canadian-grenadier-guards-foundation-scholarship-awards-evening","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cgg.ca\/fr_ca\/2023-canadian-grenadier-guards-foundation-scholarship-awards-evening\/","title":{"rendered":"2023 Canadian Grenadier Guards Foundation Scholarship Awards Evening"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Tuesday, September 26, 2023, with the support of the Regimental Sergeant Major and the Sergeants&#8217; Mess, the Foundation Board of Directors hosted members of the Serving Battalion, the Association, the Guards Club, the 2709 Guards Cadet Company, and the 2023 Scholarship Recipients as they gathered to congratulate them and presented them with their educational funds.\u00a0 Below, for everyone&#8217;s ease of reference is the correspondence the Honorary Colonel circulated earlier in September.<\/p>\n<p>We would like to thank former Honorary Colonel Dick Pound, Foundation Director and member of Council, for his opening remarks which highlighted the importance of this initiative for the entire Regimental Family.\u00a0 The Lieutenant-Colonel Commanding, Lieutenant-Colonel Jose Nu\u00f1ez, also addressed those gathered and thanked all the donors who contributed through financial support, making this evening&#8217;s event a reality.
