On behalf of the Lieutenant-Colonel Commanding, Lieutenant-Colonel Jose R. Nunez, MMM, CD, AdeC, the Regiment is pleased to officially announce to those who could not be present at the change of Regimental Sergeants Majors, that the event took place on November 8, 2022, on a parade held at the Home Station here in Montr\u00e9al.<\/p>\n
The Regiment acknowledges and thanks the tremendous contribution of the outgoing Regimental Sergeant-Major, Master Warrant Officer Andrew Albert, CD, has made throughout his entire 30 years as a Guardsman!\u00a0 His leadership, mentorship, dedication and support to all ranks of the Regiment has been stellar.\u00a0 We wish him continued success in all his endeavors as he continues to serve the Canadian Armed forces is his fully time position at 2 Canadian Division.\u00a0 As a reservist and working at Division Headquarters full time, it is also worthy to note he continued to support the Regiment while holding a full-time position in the forces and contributed as a traditional part time Guardsman.\u00a0 We are sure your family will be glad to have you back home on Tuesday evenings and weekends.\u00a0 We thank them for their support given to you and the regiment by allowing you this flexibility, in support of the Regiment.\u00a0 Master Warrant Officer Albert will be taking his Commission later this year to the rank of Captain and will continue to serve the Regiment in different capacities.<\/p>\n
We welcome our new Regimental Sergeant Major, Chief Warrant Officer Cameron W, Stevens, MMM, CD, as he assumes his new mandate as the Regiments ‘Regimental Sergeant Major’.<\/p>\n
The Sergeant-Major is no stranger to the Regiment, as he has supported the Guards over many years in Public Duties in Ottawa and in Battalion Headquarters as the full time Operations Warrant Officer.\u00a0 He brings to the Regiment over thirty-five (35) years of professional service.<\/p>\n

Le r\u00e9giment reconna\u00eet et remercie l’\u00e9norme contribution du sergent-major r\u00e9gimentaire sortant, l’adjudant-ma\u00eetre Andrew Albert, CD, au cours de ses 30 ann\u00e9es en tant que garde ! Son leadership, son mentorat, son d\u00e9vouement et son soutien \u00e0 tous les grades du r\u00e9giment ont \u00e9t\u00e9 exceptionnels. Nous lui souhaitons un succ\u00e8s continu dans toutes ses entreprises alors qu’il continue de servir les Forces arm\u00e9es canadiennes dans son poste \u00e0 temps plein \u00e0 la 2e Division du Canada. En tant que r\u00e9serviste et travaillant au quartier g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la division \u00e0 temps plein, il convient \u00e9galement de noter qu’il a continu\u00e9 \u00e0 soutenir le r\u00e9giment tout en occupant un poste \u00e0 temps plein dans les forces et a contribu\u00e9 en tant que garde traditionnel \u00e0 temps partiel. Nous sommes s\u00fbrs que votre famille sera heureuse de vous revoir \u00e0 la maison le mardi soir et le fins de semaine.<\/p>\n
Nous les remercions pour leur soutien apport\u00e9 \u00e0 vous et au r\u00e9giment en vous permettant cette flexibilit\u00e9, en soutien au R\u00e9giment. L’adjudant-ma\u00eetre Albert portera sa commission plus tard cette ann\u00e9e au grade de capitaine et continuera de servir le r\u00e9giment \u00e0 diff\u00e9rents titres.<\/p>\n
Nous souhaitons la bienvenue \u00e0 notre nouveau sergent-major r\u00e9gimentaire, l’adjudant-chef Cameron W, Stevens, MMM, CD, alors qu’il assume son nouveau mandat de \u00ab sergent-major r\u00e9gimentaire \u00bb du r\u00e9giment.<\/p>\n
Le sergent-major n’est pas \u00e9tranger au r\u00e9giment, car il a soutenu les gardes pendant de nombreuses ann\u00e9es dans les fonctions publiques \u00e0 Ottawa et au quartier g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du bataillon en tant qu’adjudant des op\u00e9rations \u00e0 temps plein. Il apporte au R\u00e9giment plus de trente-cinq (35) ans de service professionnel.<\/p>\n
