The Act of Remembrance\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old,<\/em>
\nAge shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.<\/em>
\nAt the going down of the sun and in the morning<\/em>
\nWe will remember them.<\/em><\/p>\n

First and foremost, I remember all the sacrifices of those that fought for our freedom and the way of life that we sometimes take for granted.<\/h5>\n
\"\"\u00a0 \u00a0 It also reminds me of the friends that I lost when I was a 14-year-old Guards Cadet due to a horrible training accident in 1974 in Valcartier, and those lives that were subsequently lost over the years due to the lack of support that the children involved in this accident received.\u00a0 \"\"<\/h5>\n
\"\"This day also brings memories of all the previous serving members that are no longer with us, including my brother Karl. Although I miss and think about Karl every day, Remembrance Day always brings a tear to my eye.<\/h5>\n
