The Act of Remembrance<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old,<\/em>
\nAge shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.<\/em>
\nAt the going down of the sun and in the morning<\/em>
\nWe will remember them.
\n<\/em><\/p>\n

As Grenadiers we understand and appreciate that great deeds cannot die.<\/p>\n

For every day, when we put our Grenadier uniform on, the sense of duty, regimental pride and dedication to our King and Country is re-instilled in each of us.<\/p>\n

This is the same inspiration that spurred our Regimental forebears to dedicate themselves, through periods of war and peace, to the task at hand throughout our Grenadier history.<\/p>\n

It is the same inspiration and professional dedication to our duties that continues to shape what we as Grenadiers are today, and in our future. WE REMEMBER THEM.<\/p>\n

To think of words best to describe my feelings about Remembrance Day is very emotional and difficult \u2013 they are stored in my heart. But I say thank you:<\/p>\n

To the heroes who gave their last measure to my freedom- Thank you.<\/p>\n

To the heroes who gave their last measure to my loved ones, family, and friends for their freedom- Thank you.<\/p>\n

To the heroes who gave their last measure to us all for Canada\u2019s freedom- Thank you.<\/p>\n

My prayer is that we be deserving of their sacrifice.<\/p>\n

That those Canadian heroes, looking down upon us from Heaven, may you say to us one day: \u201cJob well done and thank you for defending and protecting the freedom of my loved ones, my family, my friends, and that of my beautiful and beloved county- Canada.\u201d<\/p>\n

God bless our fine Canadian Soldiers \u2013 past, present, and future, We Thank You.<\/p>\n
