CGG Annual Golf Day 2018
Again this year at the beautiful BonnieBrook Golf and Country Club the Regiment on 02 June did advance across soft grass and used the surrounding woods for camouflage from time to time in order to capture all 18 objectives in a timely manner. The most accomplished group was lead by the Sgt/Maj Bill Simakis, with Steve Burgess and Vic Pulcini doing the heavy lifting !!!

The Longest drive ladies went to Julie Keith and the men was Vic Pulcini. Closest to the hole for the ladies was Sylvie Tracey and for the guys it was Joe Nunez.

A wonderful day on the course and the 19th hole was very relaxing as well, with an excellent dinner, many door prizes, and short speeches.

This year the Terry Whitty Bursary Fund got a big boost from this event. The first recipient of the bursary in 2017 was CWO Eunece Kabasele of the 2332 Maj Holland VC RCAC based in Ottawa. For 2018 there are two recipients Meaghan Jones out of Brighton On. and Makayla Brown from Oshawa.

Well done to Dave Edwards and his team of volunteers who worked very hard putting the tournament together and ensuring that the day went smoothly, especially the little extra sips of cheer along the way !!
